On behalf of the Town, we welcome you to Guilford Events Magazine. Guilford's rich history dates back to our founding in 1639. The heart of our Town is our expansive Green, known as one of the finest throughout New England. There is something for everyone around Town including our shops, dining establishments, arts, museums, parks, trail systems, golf course, water sports and more. You can see the Town via walking tours, Segway tours and enjoy views from the water by Boat Tours.
Guilford is easy to get to, being conveniently located on Long Island Sound between New York and Boston. While many come by car and bus, Guilford is served by the Shoreline East Railway System and nearby airports. Guilford is known for our efficient Town government, public services, library, education system and access to fine medical facilities. We support our local businesses and cooperate with our Chamber of Commerce.
